Nice bunch indeed but my favorite is the F/A-16E.

Just a little update on my latest build. A FineMolds 1/72 F-4EJ Kai. My first FineMolds kit. Lots of nice details and overall pretty good fit. Bench time has been hard to come by so going slower than I'd like. Finished the exhaust ramp, the best part of building any Phantom. The Kai Phantoms had the less smoky engines so looking at reference photos going with less black sooty and more scorched metal.

I've got some travel for work coming up over the next couple of weeks but hopefully I can get this done by the end of the month. It's a Phantom so I'll need at least a week just for decals 🤪

Oh so true  ;D

So bench time has been hard to come by so far this year,  but she's coming together slowly. Decaling wasn't too bad (compared to other Phantoms I've built). Finemolds groups related decals together instead of making you put each one in place. So for instance there's just two decals for the entire leading edge instead of half dozen or more. Still it's a F-4 so takes some time. Hopefully I might get her wrapped up before I go on vacation next week. I'm usually 3 builds in by this time of year but oh well.

Are you sure there's a plane in there somewhere, under all those transfers?

ok finally got it finished. This is the longest it's taken me to complete a kit yet. Wasn't the kits fault, just not a lot of bench time lately. This was my first Finemolds kit, and as far as 1/72 F-4 goes I'll give it a solid B+. Really nice detail and well engineered for building. The only issue I'd have with are at some seam lines created by two parts coming together the seams were rather large. I didn't think they'd stand out that much till I was too far into the build to really address it. Still I've got a few more Finemolds F-4s in the stash so I know what to look out for next time. On to the next build.

Come out well

I've always found the Fine Moulds I've built to be nice kits
