This big bird comes with 5 options in the instructions. I had originally planned to have it open with Sea Kings being loaded...but now I'm not sure ! It's got amazing interior detail for such a wee bird, and it could certainly be detailed up with leftover bits. Also, you could probably open a few doors on the upper level.......

I know: the options are maddening, aren't they?

I'm doing mine as open as possible.  When we had our exchangers rushed up in a Polet An-124 last year, the crew wouldn't let anybody up into the upper deck whatsoever.  Like it was still top-secret cold war era or something.

I wished I had taken flightdeck pics from Airliners.net to show them.

Well, iffen ya builds it with everything open, then you can't fly it around the room making jet noises.

Sheesh, kids don't know how to be kids no more.  ^_^

Looks like both ends open wins by a nose...and tail !

Maybe I'll try and make it nose down, get a couple of pics, and then pry it open for the loading/ unloading. I'll have to see how it all works.

Cheers !

Well, I voted for her sitting on the deck with her arse open. This kit screams to be dioramaed. I'm gonna have to get one for my clubs display for next year.

Had to revive this baby for one last go.....I'm going to start working on my RCAF Transport Command before Nev fires me.

I still like the way it looks with just the tail open, but I'm going to go with the popular vote.

I'm changing my vote. I want a Zwilling with a centre-line pod containg a Tim Horton's and a Beer Store. Just the job for resupplying our troops!

I like option five, but the idea that really tempts me is converting it to an AN-225 and have it carrying a Buran, or something similar, with the full support package loading into the interior.

'bout time too :)

When I get my new digicam (hopefully today) I'll post up some in-progress shots of the alternative CC-137 ;)

You're in luck, Sweet have just released a series of 144th Sea Kings - some pretty cool colour options as well

Don't know if its the case here, but their other 144th stuff had 2 kits per box  :)
