Life's too short to apply all the stencils

I'm intending to do mine with the rear doors open only, to keep the lines of the beast intact.

Lancer, your right, it screams out (is that because it's having both ends filled....sorry   ) for a diorama.  I was planning to add some Revell 1/144 Pumas as one of the Volga-Dnepr aircraft (although I'm not sure as I prefer the Polet colours) that airlifted threefor the Tsunami relief effort:

An-124 with Puma's
Puma's

Elmayerle, an An-225 Mryia would be fantastic, I'd love to see it.  I've been thinking about that, but I'm not brave enough!  I would have thought someone would have offered a conversion kit, but extras for this kit have been suprisingly unforthcoming.

Anyone planning to whiff it?

Simon.
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

3 Pumas?  Aye Carumba!

That's what I wanted to do as well...but I opened my big mouth and said I'd go with the flow ! I still might go against my word...like a politician....

Great pic of the Pumas on board.....wow ! That's somat like I had in mind for the Sea Kings. I guess in all truth, what better way to show off the interior and its cargo than to open up both ends....

Yeah, I was impressed with three Puma's too Nev.  Still some room in there too, & they only removed the main & tail rotors!  I once saw a pic of a C-5 with Chinook fitting snuggly inside!  Rotor & engine mountings had been removed though!

I guess you may even get three Sea Kings in at a push Captain!  Yeah, I've thought that it may be a waste of three Pumas to bung them in & not really be able to see them, but I might diaplay it with one or two loading & the rest waiting.  I could also open up the small access door on the port side, but you wouldn't see too much through it.  'Workable' front doors may have been a good idea to be avle to pose them open or closed, but I guess this would have left open all sorts of inaacuracies & fit problems

Now you've got me thinking!

A HUMVEE will just squeeze inside a Chinook.  I'm imagining some kind of giant military Russian doll with a Humvee inside a Chinook inside a C-5!

Maybe you could get a bike in the back of Hummer too then pop something in a pannier! :D
