Might need someone to do spats on a space shuttle

I invite all and any criticism, except about Eric The Dog, it's not his fault he's stupid

I'd love to be in on this. I'm not really great at anything, but I'm good at everything.

You bring up a good point.

We could have various levels of involvement based on individual participant comfort and skill levels.  For example, I wouldn't feel confident attempting to rig some fantastic ship model by Greg, etc.

The model complexity would suit the builders involved.  Like mini-modeling guilds of like-minded/equally capable modelers.

Are you good at PSR?  ;)    If so, I've got a LOT of work for you!     Seriously, I've got a Tomcat/Hornet hybrid that has refused to speak to me, so if you want to have a go at it, be my guest. All I've got is the bare design and it needs someone to figure out the intake situation. Just a thought. :)

Well, if I can stay motivated at it, yea. I mean, I seem to be able to put on and take off just the right amount of putty, I just can't stick with it from start to end, you know what I mean? But I would definitely be interested in helping out on one of your fantastic builds, Eddie.

Edit: Hey, then we could send it to JHM for a ship-in-a-bottle interior! :P

Eddie M.

Sounds like we could do this. We'll see if this GB get off the ground. If not, I'll still send you something to work on. :)

No, that's just fine, but if they get too loud, refrain from using an ice pick in the ear to get them to stop. It gets messy, I know. :P  ;)

I'm in.
Send me whatever you want at whatever stage and let me know what you need to be done with it!    ;)

Alright Jon,
The balls in your court. You have a slightly insane idea man and a Master modeler at your service. Time to use some of the military delegation of authority that you're going to learn and tell us what you'd like to happen. Do you want me to finish the construction of this monster, or would you like me to send you all the parts and you put it together as you wish. It's up to you. :)

Only "slightly" insane?  I take offense since I am exceptionally insane (wearing a yellow rubber ducky outfit as I type this, in fact)...     ;)

Sorry for the slight absense, spent the week out of town catching up with family and good friends, and I'm still waxing poetic about getting punched in the face by my past(good analogy, eh?). Umm, anyway, I'm not sure how I'd like this to go down, because most of my ideas right now are little things like truing up the wings and continuing the LEX's forward to a point instead of squaring them off. And also, I don't have many 1/48 spares. Right now I think you'd be more capable of finishing it, but I always love a challenge and could use a distraction. I'm gonna sleep on it. I'm at least go for PSR and ideas. And if it means anything to you, I have an image of the finished product in my head. Oh, JHM, did you say you are go for an office? I'll get back to y'all.

Well, I've finally come down from sensory overload long enough to ponder on this. And I'd really love to do the work on it, as long as its cool with you guys, that is. I'll still want to keep you both involved democratically on the desicion-making, and get a JHM interior, Eddie you'll have to do the paint and markings because that's not my best area. Sound good. I'm off to clean out my PM inbox, and then crash before hooking up a 52' LCDTV and 7.1 surround sound and etc, etc, etc tomorrow. Someone shoot me now.
