My 1/32 scale Hasegawa Bf 109K-4 was finished last Sunday and here are a few pics of it.

I know this is not a what-if type and not of much interest here but I wanted to build a ''real'' a/c model to quiet my critics. My last new model was a Zero in Luftwaffe markings and I got some nasty e-mails for ''ruining'' a otherwise nice kit.
Lets see the JMNs who sent me the e-mails do better at building a model of a ''real'' a/c.

Oh my, that's a pretty Messerschmitt!

 So realistic... are you very sure this is a model, not the 'real thing'? :)

why don't you let us know who sent you the emails? we would always go around and rough him up a bit...you are one of "us" you know, and you get protection for free  :D

you are a master at work matrixone - while i may have only a limited interest in german ww2 types, i have a limitless capacity for enjoying your work!

Hi Max,

Just a wonderful piece of work, and

yes I remember that Zero and liked it very much. Bah, to JMN I say, they'll never understand us and appreciate our work. Their loss!

Do you remember my telling everyone about a TA 152 in Eastern Front markings and camo?

I'm slowly finishing it and will post some in-progress piccies in a few days. It's in the markings of Graf as a "What If he flew it on the Eastern Front?".

Beautiful 109 Matrix. As for what the JMN's said. SOD 'EM, if all they can do is criticise and snipe, it show's them up to be the small, petty and narrow minded aresholes that tehy are.

OH no !!!  Matrixone, you missed two of the rivets on the front do-widget!!!!
JMN's giving you grief over your work are nothing but wanna-be's...magnificent work, outstanding !!!

The critics can go to hell.  That's a nice looking bird, and so were the others.

I love your work and your presentation. JMNs are cripplied by they're lack of imagination, and they don't even know it. In my opinion, you have great skills and even better foresight on how to display your work. Looking forward to your next creation. :)

I still see this as a "What-if" model...as in "what if" I could produce work like that!

That is a stunning piece of work.  Too bad it was inspired by the narrow mindedness of some people in this hobby.

So I got that going for me...which is nice....

It's a pity that you have to answer your critics. I would have told them to F off

I mean we already know that you are a skilled modeler.

Thanks everybody for the kind words and show of support!

The nasty e-mails were deleted shortly after I read them, I would like to have seen some of the work that they produce...thats if they had the guts to post any pics of them!

I am sure somebody will find fault with the 109, wrong paint colors or markings or a seam line not filled in correctly, but I don't care too much if the critics find something to bitch about because I like this model and did my best to build and finish it and if its not good enough, tough s**t!

My next model will be the Huma Me 209, not as nice a kit as the Hasegawa Bf 109K but the 209 will have a far more interesting camouflage and markings added to it.
