I will re-post some pics of the Luftwaffe Zero tomorrow, but the model is not that good- you have been warned!

Two points mate, first, critics be damned. You are a fantastic builder and your work shows it. second, the Nazis tested the Zero and several other types. They concluded that the couldn't withstand the punishment they felt was necessary for a European ground war. This was post Poland, in late 1940. The Japanese were in tern also testing German equipment.
Now in both cases, pilots visited the countries of orgin, but I've read where the Nazis did paint the honomarou (spelling bad) on a 109 in hopes of license build selling. They did get the engine contract in the process. (DB-609?)That being said, it's not unreasonable to assume the Japanese did the same thing. The US did it with aircraft they wanted to sell to other countries as a way to help seal the deal.
Getting back into modeling

Jeffry Fontaine

It looks good in the color images but it is outstanding the the black/white/shades of gray image.  I can appreciate that a whole lot more and it makes the model appear more realistic to me.

Very good work sir!  Now get back to WHIFFING!

Holy crow, if I'm ever a tenth that talented, I'll die happy.  Amazing work!

Thanks for the support Gary and Jeffry!

My ''what-if'' projects in the works are Me 209, He 219, SAAB J29 Tunnan, and possibly the new Dragon kit of the Ar 234P Nightfighter.

The He 219 will be built stock but will have a wild camouflage and ''what-if'' markings on it. I have had this kit in my stash for too long now, I don't want to throw it out but it is so old it is not up to todays standards for model kits.

Thanks proditer!

I hope to post more pics of the K-4 tomorrow.
Thanks for looking at my work!

You make it sound like I'm doing you a favor by looking, while in all honesty, you are doing me one by posting such a superb model.   :D

Hi Matrix,

THAT's the model I've been searching for two of, to make a four-engine jobby, but just can't track two of the buggers down here in Oz! It's great little kit to really go to town on.

And c'mon, just give us a few more hints of the wild camo you have in mind.

I got that one in my stash. I've also got the Dragon version. If you'd like the Revell one PM me.

It's great to see you back - you've been sorely missed

Stunning work as is your norm

Chris
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

matrixone

Thanks again proditor! And thanks Allan, lancer, and Chris!

Allan,
My He 219 might be done in a ''ambush'' scheme sort of like what some German armor had in the late stages of the war.

Another couple Bf 109K-4 pics...

One of my buddies friends owns a real 1/1 scale 109 and damned if yours doesn't look just as realistic as his 1/1 scale plane. Beautiful work, also really enjoyed your German Zero.

Thanks so much for the kind words Jeff!

I really should have put markings for a Luftwaffe advanced trainer on that Zero, it would have looked better.

Leigh

Once again Matrix magnificent work, I bow to the master and yer definitely a big influence on my growing interest in building Luft '46.
As for the JMN's screw 'em, in fact go out of your way to blow their gaskets, I'm definately gonna post my ME-274 on ARC just to upset a few people when they see what I did to their beloved Bf-109.
Keep em coming

I invite all and any criticism, except about Eric The Dog, it's not his fault he's stupid

Leigh's Models

Allan

Hi Lancer,
That's okay mate, two of those things will turn up sooner or later at one of the model sales.
But thanks very much anyway.
