Well, I can't believe it!  I entered my 1/72 Revell F-101 Voodoo and Trumpeter 1/144 F-86 Sabre Saturday at the Dayton Ohio
model show.  I expected to go away empty handed but........... :D

Another view of the Voodoo.  Also, a special thank you to Captain Canada and Dork the Kit Slayer for sending me walk way decals to replace the ones I screwed up

What ? You won with that piece of junk ? Geez...they'll hand anybody a prize these days, eh ? Are you sure you weren't the only entrant ? And I guess the excuse for that 144th scale one was that it was too small to see all your screw-ups !

:P

All kidding aside, congratulations ! Beauty job on that Voodoo. Maybe you could build me a few CDN ones that well, eh ? Very nicely finished, with some subtle panel line wash........looks like the real thing. Great job on getting the decals to lay down so well also.

I bet that if you would have finished your Sabre in RCAF colours, it would have gathered you another first place plaque ! Just something to remember for next time !

And no problem with the decals, pal...that's what we're here for !

Its hard to believe that Sabre is 1/144 - what did you do with the other one in the box ?

Well done

Chris
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Well done on the win Mark. Both those kits are brilliant.
