Now this would have been fun, and a lot faster than an Airbus!

Why not? After all, the RCAF was the first in the world to use jet transports.

Could you tell us the story, Gary? With those colours, it seems not a VIP liner, so is it a troop carrier? for very urgent duty? with parachute drops of people? So mysterious... tell us, tell us all...

It penetrates air defences at high speed, crippling the enemy's economy by mass-dropping beavers.

Well actually the thought that went with this was a revitalized airforce including a rapid transport aircraft or three. One as the PM's transport. Kinda would make that huge 747 look like a fat lady in a blue dress at a doughnut shop.

The others would be used for rapid response teams. SAR teams, but also for peacekeeping missions when time is an issue. Get the manpower on the ground asap. As well, when you have medical evacuations, getting stabilized troops to a larger medical facility, do it faster. Both missions would require a cargo door modification, but not out of the relm.

Then we have the issue of AWACs applications, get in fast on time instead of waiting forever. and if things get cranky, go by-by quick.

Lastly, while expensive as she is, the Concorde is truely one of the most beautiful "transport" aircraft ever. The tube and wing airliners are very nice indeed if you want to be bored to tears, but for sheer sexyness and moral, Concorde all the way.

Great ideas, Gary.

I was thinking pretty much the same things for mine, but not the VIP role. I'm also planning on Bombers and AAR jobs. Both RCAF and RCN.

Cheers !

Alive beavers? Enjoying landscape through the windows? :D
Gary has found other explanations, hiding the Beaver-Force Truth? Top Secret?;)

I'll do one as the PM's mount, 400 Sqn. bird!

Now Thorvic, where's that shipping quote, eh?

Looks like a great idea.  Any more colorful scheme planned for the PM's transport?
Man, we should have cloned twenties. Jackson wouldn't have given a poo-poo.

My Concorde should be arriving soon, and I have a special scheme in mind for my PM transport.

Just wait and see.
