The Wooksta!

TsrJoe mentioned a single engined version of the Hawker P.1128 "Huntsman" powered by the standard RR Avon that powered the Hunter, so I decided to have a bash.  After he gave a gash fuselage (which already had the engines removed), I started.

First up, a "standard" P.1128 for comparison.  This will be a Rhodesian example.  Anyone who suggests Zimbabwean can go and have a word with that well known humanitarian and all round nice guy Robert Mugabe.

Keep at it Wooksta, I had never heard of a Huntsman* before I came to this board, but as soon as my old eyes laid on one there was the sound of violins!

looking sweet wooks', id always wanted to see how the original P.1128 would look in 3D...very nice indeed !

jeepers, thats gonna be some impressive lineup of TSR.'s when your done, look forward to seeing your 2 'specials' too !

ah id forgotten you had the first '1128 casting outv the original mould, seems ages ago now, still looks good in the old 'Black Arrows' scheme tho ! (all you need are the 3 Lightnings to sit alongside !)

hmmm... how bout a 'Blue Diamond' to compliment her ? (or even a nice red 'tin sparrows' one?) hehehe

happy sanding...cheers, joe

QuoteThe one on the left is possibly going to be an Argentinian example, although I am toying with Isreal to really piss people off.
Why would an IDF one piss people off????My curious mind yearns to know....

Man, how come you take a pretty aircraft like the Hunter and turn it into that ugly-ugly thing called, a, a, Huntsman?

Yuck!

Wooksta,
I think I might have a spare set of the Maintrack P.1183 wings if they'd be of help to you.  Of course, they are in "southern remote stash" but are retrievable.

I agree with you on the other items.  *evil grin* Care to bet how much the Guardian and it's readers would howl if folks from the US started messaging a critical vote area of the UK and started trying to propagandize for one particular party?

QuoteIt's in one of the boxes, but I don't know which one.
You don't know how familiar that sounds.  :D

What are you using for those TSR's? Fiberglass molding?

Hmmmmm.  Executive jets never really made it into my "what-if" ideas, but that's damn cool.

Keep tweaking them dudes, wooksta.  I like the IDF idea.  Makes me think more about doing that IDF Mirage 4000 one of these days. . .

I think I'll browse on over to gunsamerica.com, and page through the Galil's while I'm at it.

Ollie

18, eh?

That sure is impressive.

Just remember that the Saudis part financed the Mirage 4000 program  ;)

Also, I think the French stopped selling Israel arms after they started the Six Day War.
