Over kill is often very understated .
I know the voices in my head ain't real but they do come up with some great ideas.
Theres few of lifes problems that can't be solved with the proper application of a high explosive projectile .

Proper Hemis, with a capital 'H', just have to be V8s, but there are numerous 4 cylinder engines with hemi heads, specially these days.

On the other had it could be possible to chop off one bank of the V8 and fit a balancer shaft maybe. Certainly GM did that with a few of their engines, but I'm not sure if Chrysler ever did it for real.

Fred might know.

Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

The DOHC Miller/Offy four-cylinder in supercharged form are mostly two-valve per cylinder hemi engines, the naturally aspirated versions are four-valve per cylinder pentheads.
The Offy was developed from the Miller 150 racing boat engine, a 150 cu.in. four cylinder, so you'd double up on the amphibious part.

IIRC the cylinder head Harry Ricardo designed for Triumph in the 1920's had a hemispherical combustion chamber.
Making it a single cylinder hemi.

Here is a mock up of the Schwimmbeetle.  PSR is ongoing.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.  Revelling in numptytism.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed, badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry.

Can I do the BananaSplits theme while I look at this ?
Nice beatnik 60's vibe

Old Wombat

Don't know about the Banana Splits Amphicat six-wheel drive all-terrain buggies, but it mildly reminds me of the old Baja buggies.  ;D  ;)

Now I can't work on this without humming the Banana Splits theme.
I blame you Brian Buzzbomb.

Agree about the Baja thing. Wow there is a kit I had when in my early teens, some manufacturers Baja Bug kit.

Probably why this build evokes the whole banana splits thing, all around the same time

NARSES2

I know the Banana Splits were out there, but never saw it, or remember anything about it. I'm more the Andy Pandy and Flower Pot Men generation  ;D

And that's before we even get to Muffin the Mule......was it ever legal btw ?   ;)
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.
