My plan here is to graft the top of a Beetle onto the bottom of a Schwimmwagen.
I have started constructing the bottom part and modifying the Tamiya wheel hubs to fit into Meng Landcruiser wheels (often the trickiest part of a car build - getting the wheels you want to use to fit).

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed, badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry.

Just incase you come across an oasis on your drive to Cairo  ;)  ;D
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

So, wheels are modified and ready for paint (the Meng Toyotas have vinyl tyres hence the bare rims) and steering has been converted to be on the right side of the car.

If it aint broke ,,fix it until it is .
Over kill is often very understated .
I know the voices in my head ain't real but they do come up with some great ideas.
Theres few of lifes problems that can't be solved with the proper application of a high explosive projectile .

I cut the top off the Beetle today.  Straight off the saw it fits nicely at the base of the windscreen and fits at the back where it touches.

Room for a Hemi in there, just...................  ;)
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)
