Can it lift the bow and stern tracks clear of the ice and pirouette on the centre three tracks?

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.  Revelling in numptytism.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed, badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry.

The outer tracks running in opposite directions for REALLY sharp turns.  ;D
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

With Ravel's Bolero playing over it's loud speakers ?

Hmm I more hear a "Ride of the Valkyries" when I see the AMB-1.

But the tracks can be retracted for a better sea performance. So it should be able to make a 360 on the ice :)

I believe our British friend is referring to Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean at the 1984 Winter Olympics in Sarajevo (Not my thing, but they were very good).

Well spotted Mr Wombat

You have to remember us Brits don't win many Winter Olympic medals, so to win a gold makes you a national hero/heroine  ;)

Intersting to read the music discussions, but there is one thing missing for the AMB-1:

As it has to move in the water as well, it needs some propellors, the tracks will not help so much there. So two propellors have been added.

The have to be added in a way that they do not scratch on the gorund when it is running on land.

Aah, that makes more sense...   ;)

The Elsworth is coming along well.

They might have been very good but figure skating is not a sport.

I won't disagree with you there mate.

Wouldn't the tracks provide some form of propulsion in water ?

Also how about water jets instead of propellors ?

Coming along nicely sir
