Laci Models in a British company that started in 2020, producing mainly resin flap and engine sets for airliner and transport kits (and a few combat types), but also a small range of resin kits including Flying Fleas and several gliders in a variety of scales. Some interesting stuff here:

Some random examples (lots more on the website):

Now if they did those RR Dart engines in 48th and not 144 i'd be very interested
And the propellers to go with em ,,even better
If it aint broke ,,fix it until it is .
Over kill is often very understated .
I know the voices in my head ain't real but they do come up with some great ideas.
Theres few of lifes problems that can't be solved with the proper application of a high explosive projectile .

That Flea looks like either the ultimate in testing your patience or the quickest way to the looney bin!

Ahhh ,, they didn't say that on the box ,,that LAC144015 number is what i looked at and with alot of manufactures out there you can get the scale by the first couple of numbers in the part number ...these guys clearly dont that is would seem
Or they do but also in 72nd ,,but either way ,,to small ,,or maybe in 72nd they could work on a small 48th COIN type aircraft 🤔

They do exactly that with the part numbers, it's just that there's a LOT more stuff on the website than the random selection I could put up.

They don't do any resin sets in 1/48th. These are the kits they do: https://laci-ltd.uk/en/65-kits-48

If they're 3D printed they may be able to do them in 1/48 if you request them.

Wardukw

One thing is for damn certain they do look very very nice in the pics ,,it does make me wonder just how big these are 72nd but i cant seem to find any measurements .

Yeah that's an idea ,,, not sure at all how they would scale em up but it might be worth an ask  ;D

Well an RR Dart RDa.7 (Mk.520) is 2480mm long in real life, so in 1/72nd scale it'd be about 34.5mm.

I saw one of these at Telford and I'm still having sleepless nights thinking about its construction  :o  ;D
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

There's surprisingly few parts to them. This is the "scary" skeletal one:

It strikes me that the biggest challenge is cutting all the 3D printing supports off without breaking it:

Those struts will be problematic. Hot scalpel should do the trick, or replace them with fine brass rod or stretched sprue.

I must admit I'm tempted, I've always been intrigued by the Flying Flea. Might be less masochistic than Brengun's 1/144 kit.

Yes I was thinking that brass rod might be easier too. Then there's the rigging, which has always terrified me... :o

There's a 1/48th version of the Flying Flea that's only a couple of quid dearer and probably less eye-breaking:

I've not dare attempt rigging yet. Should bite the bullet.  :-\

Randomly, I worked out human hair is the correct scale thickness for rigging at 1/72 and curling cream should help tighten it up. Not weird or anything...

That's remarkably like the late lamented Renwall Aeroskin kits, recently mentioned on here too IIRC.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)
