That's true.
I will give it another coat and cover anything else with weathering.

And conversely, apparently the 'brush ready' airbrushes without thinning... go figure.

I've got air brush ready paint which isn't and brush paint that is ,,it's strange  ;D
Ammo's paint can be hit and miss and many of their paints can be to thin so ya gotta be careful with the pressure or man it get's out of control very fast
Now i know that with the AK paint range you've gotta use their thinners spraying with their paint is a pleasure ,,i'll be using that paint on the M6 since i've got the OD paint set

I'm going to try and make the cover for the IR light mounted on Israeli Ishermans. I'm sure I have enough brass scraps and a leftover part from an M51 kit for a pattern. Of course I also need the light but that shouldn't be too hard to find.

I managed to get a little something done tonight. I made the brass shield over the IR light and got it installed. I found some smoke grenade launchers that look like the ones the Israelis used on their Ishermans. After fighting with the crazy glue (what an appropriate name) I finally got it to stay where I wanted. Looks like paint is next.

And one with the gun barrel installed.

I hope those glue puddles don't show up later.

I added the little search light part and I'm fiddling with painting the tracks. Between the road wheels and the tracks I ask myself why have I taken up building tanks these days?

Cos the painting part is easier than getting a good finish on aircraft?
That's my rationale, anyway.

I've been messing around with little bits and pieces. I'm making some brackets to hold pieces of track on the sides and front. I made a wire catcher just off to the side of the gun.
Here's a question. How does the air vent on the back of the Sherman connect to the engine compartment? It must be boxed in somehow. It just hangs off the back of the hull right now.

Isn't it just a screened gap above the engine rear hull plate?
