Indeed

Withought the barrel it does remind me of something like a Sturm Tiger ? Maybe the US equivalent, or a more refined answer to the British Churchill AVRE.?
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Quick question though, what glue do you use for brass to plastic?

CA glue works very well. Just use the least amount you can and still get a bond.

I keep imagining what this would look like in Israeli paint and markings. Desert grey/tan with a few markings. Maybe an Israeli flag on the antenna.

I've been looking up pics of Israeli Sherman's and it seems there is a desert tan/sand color or a much more grey/sand color. My question is, is there two colors or is it just lighting throwing it off? It would appear as though the grayish color is later and the sand is earlier in the Sherman's time frame. I may be all wet on this. Anyone have some suggestions?

Yes it is! I'll probably go with the 67-73 time frame. I'll try ordering the paint on line. I don't recall seeing it in the LHS.

Really, really starting to look the business. Great work

I decided to make it an Israeli conversion from the late sixties to early seventies. I picked up some Vallejo 70.614 paint from my LHS and I have decals from an M51 Isherman kit.

That Vallejo paint is looking good. I might need a second coat to even things out some more.

It's the ready for airbrushing kind so a little thin for the hairy stick. No problem.

Ahhh that would be the Vallejo Air by the sounds of it ..yeah it is very thin and it's really only designed for airbrushes but it's great for fine painting..what ya want is their straight black .
They do one called Game color which are normal thickness paints and work great with said hairy stick 😉 😜

I find Model Air brushes on fine but needs three or so coats to build colour density.
