Thanks lads  ;D  ;D  ;D
Those roads wheels were alot easier than ya might think ...i used my cordless Dremel to drill out the holes and then upped the speed one notch and just let the drill bit do the cutting ,,,i founf that if i drilled the holes from behind there was a lot less clean up to which was a benefit
Going from what Guy said when i first posted this build about the cab i'm going to build an entirely new one from scratch ..i was just going to use the M4's cab but the more i looked the more i didn't like it ,,its just too small .
So i made a start on the cab floor and today i'll start messing around with the sides and front ..which will be interesting
I'll also play with the rear idlers today as well ..they need alot more detail which sadly they are lacking right now .
More to follow gents  ;)

I've been at this again ,,building the cab and today i'll make a start with the interior ,,thats not gong to be to much of a problem once i find some bits and bobs for the dash panel ,,specking of which mine will be simpler than the original as mine only has the one engine ,,so i only need one instrument panel    ;D
What you see here is not what this looked like two days ago when this cab was crushed and badly broken ..i picked up my model table which i built 8 yrs ago and the back section broke away causing the entire thing to hit the floor ,,it was just too bloody heavy which was it's down fall ...its been rebuilt and it's many times stronger now yet lighter   ;D
You can see some of the damage at the  bottom of the lower section ,,theres like crack lines and the framing around the window isn't clean like it was two days back ,,thats going to be cleaned up abit more today .
So without further ado ,,here's the cab ,,oh with the M4 cab too

Nice work on the cab! You could put a couple of bunks, bathroom and a lunch room in that and still have room for the crew!

Thanks guys 😁😁😁😁
I got quite alot of the basics of the interior done yesterday and there's not as much room as you'd think this vehicle did have a crew of 8 ..well it could carry 8 and when ya shove the seats in ..internal storage ..room goes away rather fast ..and I haven't even made the seat cushions yet 😕
Or the dashboard..well firewall I guess you'd call it but it's at the front
That's going to be a tad time consuming but should look the bis when done.

Phill - I made an M41 cargo tractor over at BTS. It took me forever to finish it and forgot to post the pictures here. I think your cab is about the same size as the cab on mine, maybe bigger.

Dude i seriously like that ,,the cab's have a story all there own  ;D
Those cab's went from being nothing much to something bitchinly good ,,bloody nice work there mate ,,really impressive ,,you mentioned about the length of time it took you ,,with all the pushing of mouse buttons and screen time ,,i'm not surprised at all .
I got your PM and everything ya wrote was stuffed away in one of my memory banks
Im at the moment going thru all my bits and pieces looking for some storage containers and other bits for the roof of the cab ,,oh here's the measurement's of my cab for ya to compare
Length 85mm x width 87mm and with a height of 38mm ,,looking at yours tho i get the impression that yours is wider

Terrific stuff. Some very, very slick scratch work.

And some of what Wombat said as well  ;D ... loving what you do though.

kerick

I hope we will be able to see all that great work once the cab is put together!
