Quote from: chrisonord on August 11, 2025, 01:05:02 PMI am liking the look of this Phil, both yours and Kits has made me want one even more, just not seen a kit of it in 72nd scale.

They're pretty rare, but the Hasegawa one is MILES better than the Pegasus version, and of course that makes them pricey.

There's three on ebay now, the cheapest being £45.  :o  The most expensive is a mind bending £109 from Spain! I was very lucky with mine, it was a fraction of even the cheapest one now.
That's just silly isn't it. One might possibly turn up at right money one day.

These outrageous postage costs are only affecting hobbyists like us, Big Business sends their stuff by the container load at cheap rates.

What have WE done to bring the ire of the Postal Services down on us? Fair play guys, we don't owe you a living!
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Like everything else, the corporations will extract with the maximum amount of pain possible where they can (because they can), but when it comes to getting service from them, well... as was said, 'There are Customers we Serve, and Customers we Service.'

Yeah, they have us on a 3-times-a-week, i.e. every other day delivery "Service" over here.

And there's a Surcharge for Rural Deliveries...  :banghead:

We are switching to that over here in the UK for second class post, first will still be delivered every day. Work your away around that one   And it's not the poor old posties fault, but a daft decision to run the Royal Mail as a business rather than a service.
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

And selling it all to a foreign owner too!  :banghead:

At least the US Postal Service, while being part of the government, runs on its own revenue generated by the stamps and such. It provides the same service to everyone no matter where they live. It can raise the price of stamps when they need to. I think they should raise the price on the "junk mail" that gets delivered whether I want it or not.

At least you still have cheaper options... we only have the one 'Class'...
