That about covers it for a lot of the stuff on this site...   ;)

Absolutely, but Phill has this ability to take things to the far edge of insanity whilst a little part of your mind's saying "Yeah, I can see how that'd work."

  ;D  ;D  ;D
Many many thanks lads for that  ;D
This a project which like a heap of builds on here start with a idea and then its kinda gets bigger and bigger

Quote from: Robomog on August 08, 2025, 02:52:16 AMLove the concept. Nice work on the props I've used drone props on a few of my builds saves s lot of time.
Have you got enough ground clearance on the props?
Mog
>^-.-^<

P.S.  Kit, that's an awesome build !!!
Moggy mate thats a yes on the clearances ,,the new props are like 14mm shorter than the kits ones and so for the landing gear not to be to short i only cut them down by 10mm and specking of which .
The landing gear is now fitted and glued solid in place ,,i was trying to build this without the gear fitted but because of how there fitted i couldnt ,,bugga
So now careful painting will need to take place ,,which i might be able to manage   ;D

Thanks so much, I really enjoyed doing that one, and it came out just how I'd thought of it in the first place. Always a good thing.  ;D
Kit i did forget to mention that i did go thru all 12 pages of your build and very interesting it was
What did shock me tho was some plan pics throwin up in that tread ,,one pic i think Jon put up showed he same style of exhausts i went for yet in 100% honesty i've never seen that pic before ,,i just thought they would look better than the original ones ,,,,now this is either great minds and all that or a fluke ,,well whatever it is ,,they look sweet  ;D

Todays plans are to fit the last two gear doors now the gear is fitted and possibly give it a prime too in light gray ..its not like my day is going to be busy by any means so this is a very good possibility

Quite similar, don't you think?
Zero mate ,,those ideas are wicked and yeah i'm very surprised how similar they are ,,, which could lead to a whole lot of trouble aswell  ;D
I don't want to have to look at getting another one of these kits but dude thats a possibility now

Well consider it a massive help instead of it being a servient thing  ;D

On to this thing ,,primed it was ,,but cause of hthe very cold weather here at the mo its taken ages for the paint to be dry and then of course ,,i could see the more PSR which had to take place ,,so last night more putty was added and i'll sand that this morning and see what happens from there  ;)

I am liking the look of this Phil, both yours and Kits has made me want one even more, just not seen a kit of it in 72nd scale. Forward swept wings and turbo props are the way to go I think, Marine Corp COIN aircraft perhaps over Vietnam.

They're pretty rare, but the Hasegawa one is MILES better than the Pegasus version, and of course that makes them pricey.

There's three on ebay now, the cheapest being £45.  :o  The most expensive is a mind bending £109 from Spain! I was very lucky with mine, it was a fraction of even the cheapest one now.
