They're pretty fragile, so I'm gluing them into place before I lose or break them:

Gives me an idea for a kitbash using the Su-47 forward swept wings. Well done

Build is looking good!

Pity it's Soviet/Russian, I find it very difficult to get enthused over Sov/Rus anything, for the most part. :-\

Looking good indeed! IMO, one of the best looking mud-movers ever built.

Tom, does this kit require nose weight?

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed, badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry.

I don't think it does, on account of the MLG being two wheels in tandem. But I added weight anyway, though I'm not sure how much exactly. I basically cut a bit of 5mm diameter plastic tube about 2cm long, filled it with bbs, sealed the ends off and glued it inside.

Well, I got stuck in an indecision loop and didn't get much progress. I'm flying out to Singapore tomorrow, so I'll have to finish the model when I get back mid-November.

Keep us posted once you get back.
Don't have too much fun in Singapore. Getting whacked with a cane doesn't sound like fun. Have a little bit of fun, just not too much!

Unless getting whacked with a cane is one's idea of fun. Not saying that I find it fun. Not judging though,  ;D

Same here, too.
