Kit, have you heard the idea of using accelerator applied directly via a cotton bud (or allowed to run onto the glued area), rather than spraying it?
Or is it the fumes as such that cause a reaction? You probably already thought of it, but might a mask help?

Just a few stray thoughts.

I'm using two different CA accelerator, both from Flex I File: the very thin glass straw (711) and that aluminium handle  & metal tip thingy (805). Never used the spray, seems to me it's dangerous for health.

That's unfortunate Kit. Have you tried Faller Super Expert? It's hotter than Revell Contacta, I believe. I have also heard, and experimented with, using Tamiya Airbrush Thinner as a cement - it's almost the same formulation* as their cement, but cheaper.
It seemed to work well when I tried it, but as I have a lot of Humbrol left, it's a way away from being needed as yet.

*Cement 51-49%, Airbrush Thinner 49-51% split of the same ingredients...

Check your local(ish) Hobbycraft.  At least that's what Google tells me.

Not around here, they only have Humbrol, Revell and Tamiya stuff. Faller would be wildly exotic for them!

Why not set a scene as a crashed aircraft or crashed landing? Then the parts that have fallen off or you can't glue on can be scattered around the wrecked model.

I've found that plain old water often works as a cyanoacrylate glue  accelerator.
