Well, my first try for a one week GB. Have no idea if I will be able to complete the model, but I will try.

After looking through my stash I finally came up with this one here, it seems to be small enough to have a chance of being completed.

This is a 1/72 scale Huma model of a Heinkel He 280, and this one will be made as the carrier version He 280 T. So besides a different camo, some small additions like landing hook will be added. At least I hope so.

Day 1:
Staring with the Cockpit, what else and install it into the fuselage.
Some weight is put below the cockpit.

In parallel, I am designing the landing hook to 3D print it right now.

That was my first HUMA kit, and the only difficulty and delay I had was picking the engines. It's a great kit.

I made one of those kits as a What-If BoB aircraft with the HS engines on it. So this time I will go for the Jumos. And yes, it was good to build.

Huma kits were always good to build, well designed and interesting subjects too.

A big pity they stopped.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

JATO for takeoff instead of trying to rely on the silly "trolley" catapult
system they were going to use?
🤣

The He 280T did not operate on the Graf Zeppelin with its trolley catapults. Instead it was used on the "Manfred von Richthofen" which was a different design.  This is the model of the MvR in 1/700 with the He280 on board:

But this model here will get a different camo painting.

So in this reality was the first pilot to land a jet on an aircraft carrier Erich "Vinkle" Braun?
 ;D

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

Totally agree.
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Day 2:

Everything is put together, not many parts for this plane, so its now ready to be painted. This will take most of the time I guess. And I can work on things like wheels etc. while paint will dry.

The jet engines are not attacked yet, will do this after the main camo is done.

Day 3:

First color added, three more are still to go now.

3D design of the hook looks good, now i have to see if it can be printed.

Day 4:

The next camo color. Unfortunately the masking no the other side removed some of the first color, so have to see how this can be fixed.

When everything has dried, maybe I can add the third color later tonight.

Day 5:

Camo colors 3 and 4 added. I cannot show the other side where the mess with the masking took place, its fixed somehow, but not so nice as I was running out of paint. And there is one spot on this side as well near the yellow nose.
Anyway, as my engineer always says its good to have a plan B, so lets go for it.....
