£22 each, incl. GST (Aussie equivalent of VAT)

Yes, hence me still waiting for my pre-ordered pair, which the Airfix site says are "Expected Summer 2025" ... We'll see.

Went into my LHS this afternoon, not been in for a while and it has moved down the street to a bigger shop. It now has even more stock, which is a good thing. I bought an airfix Bristol super freighter, which I already have ideas for. I am thinking, a pair of Dart turboprops,  ommit the original fixed landing gear, and put sponsons on the fuselage with retractable landing gear, and a retractable double nose wheel. The sponsons might come from a dead CH-53.

And then you've got a Transall C-160, magic stuff.  ;D

Not my stash exactly,  but an Oxford die-cast Humber Pullman Limousine. Not just similar to our wedding car, but the actual one with the numberplate HRP. For our anniversary tomorrow.

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

A SUPERB car too, grossly under rated in its time. My Uncle had one for a short while.

Congrats on the anniversary.

Thank you! Yes, we looked at a Bentley at the same time, which was wonderful, but the Humber blew it away. Much larger, you can understand why royalty favoured them, lots of room for full regalia and worked perfectly for the bridal party. They'd have had to have been shoe-horned into the Bentley.

I still remember it pulling into our cul-de-sac, it had the turning circle of a super-tanker!

Congratulations though.
