Received another 188 from a time far away in another galaxy 😆
It's a Land Rover, NOT a Jeep .
Like a Jeep, but for gentlemen.

From Santa (aka Mum) this morning...

Airfix Sopwith Pup. Vintage Classic. Oldie but Goodie.

As Chris  DAVID said  : a Pup is for life, not just for Christmas 😄

After a few (somewhat pointed............) hints, my lady love Hazel bought me the Hobbyboss Lord Clive kit that I'd been trying to get for some time.

It's quite a small box but it's STUFFED with sprues and PE (LOADS of PE!) and decals and stuff.

And I have Whiffing plans for it of course.............  ;)

Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

I actually got some models for Christmas for once! The Revell 1/72 Battle of Britain pack and the Airfix Whitley. Plans are fermenting...

Today I found my Stash Enabler(tm) had a couple of Hasegawa 1/200 Herculii... not any more, as I snabbled one for the Brother-in-Laws' RNZAF fleet... maybe for 2026, maybe not.
It saved me from getting one printed and then cleaning it up.

Now I just have to get one of the OldModelsDecals sets for it... once I find out which scheme he prefers/remembers from his time in-Service.
(Please, please not another Boring Grey Airplane!  :banghead:  ;D  )

The Wooksta!

Snaffled a pair of Tamiya Mosquito FB.VI off eBay, as well as some rubber and resin - I need to...err, clone some of the bits in the Special Hobby Mosquito, purely for personal use you understand.  The petrol cooler and external fuel tanks mounts, as well as the radio gear from the Tamiya NFXIII/XVII being the first to get a bath in silicone.

Picked up a bargain on ebay for the 1/72 Sutcliffe/Contrail Avro York conversion set for less than £20 including postage.
It's not going to have a Avro Lancaster or Avro Shackleton wing, engines,  landing gear or tail fins of the Avro Lincoln.

The little resin gubbins for my BH8 hovercraft arrived today, and are they EVER small!  :o

But they're 1/144 scale of course................  :banghead:

On the very last day possible for this thread, TWO items came today.

1) An IBG Spitfire PR Type C 'Heston Special Flight' issue, which I've had on order with the Big H for EVER, and it's got even more stuff in it than their other PR Spitfire, there seems to be no less than EIGHT different canopies! Pl :o us the 3d printed resin cockpit upgrade, although I'm not sure that I'll need it, the kit's cockpit looks BETTER than the upgrade!

2) A 1/350 Mirage Hobby Flower Class Corvette, HMS Anchusa, which I got at a silly price from King Kit as it's 'been started', except it hasn't actually, but I'm not complaining. The kit was panned in the reviews but I don't care as it's a donor for bits for my HMS Lord Clive monitor build.

I hope that's a typo for 1/350th or you'll be needing a third house... ;)

Oops, it was, thanks H. :(
