EUR 15,-, plus a bit of postage. Could not resist...

Good heavens, I'm not surprised you bit their hand off, their new price is around £35!

Yup! Even with no concrete plans, it was probably worth it.

Just got a Roden AJ-1 Savage, been looking at them for a while now, and found one for a lot less than what I have been seeing them for. My plans for it are to make a heavy attack aircraft, belonging to the Uranium mining corporation defence force. I was going to cut the engine nacells off and put a pair of Dart turboprops on, but looking at the the engine pods, I won't need to, as they have a built in intake and a slash cut flush fit exhaust. Four 20mm cannons will be fitted in the nose, rocket pods and maybe a pair of Bullpup under the wings. The aircraft will be in service during the 60's early 70's, so time frame related equipment and weapons will be used. The kit looks nice in the box, and reviews seem good for it.

Old Wombat

This lot was ordered at about midday on Wednesday, 17th;

Quote from: Old Wombat on September 17, 2025, 07:20:22 PMDue to arrive early next week:

1 x Eduard 1/48 Mil Mi-24V/Mi-35 in Czech AF Service Decals for Zvezda kits (ED D48054) - has Czech flag decals, which I thought I had, but don't.
2 x SKP Model 1/35 Bradley Lenses and Taillights for Meng kits (SKP-293) - I have both versions of the Meng Bradleys & these look good
2 x Reskit 1/48 AN / ALQ-119 ECM Pod (long length version) for A-7, A-10, F-4, F-16, F-105, F-111 (RS48-0409) - the only one of those aircraft I don't have in 1/48 is the F-16
2 x Eduard 1/48 DB-7 Boston III Canopies Masking for HK Models kits (ED EX1126) - two because I don't trust myself to remove them between paint coats without damaging thaem
1 x HSeng 1/1 Airbrush Compressor (pump) w/Cooling Fan and Tank (HS-AF186) - because my 10-years-old-plus ArtLogic compressor died
1 x Iwata (by Anest) 1/1 Dual-Action Gravity Feed Cup Airbrush [nozzle: 0.2mm] (IWHP-BP) - just to accompany the compressor, you understand, so it didn't feel alone amongst those accessories

Yes, I know the last two are, officially, "Additions to my Toolkit" but, at least, now the box will be big enough for the shipping sticker!  ;D  ;)

They arrived this morning!  :o

Kudos to AusPost!

Rapido do great stuff, not that I'm in the slightest bit biased of course, oh no!  ;D

Yep! I've also got their J70 in LNER colours, H class in NER colours and have thought about their LBSCR E1. All made harder by their announcement of the GNoSR V & F Class, SECR G class, SR U class and the upcoming Manning Wardle L class.

Only down side is the cost, particularly of their coaches and wagons, which is often a result of the exquisite detail they pack in that can't really be seen as things whizz past on the layout.

Be still my sobbing wallet.

Hobbes

From AMP:
Hopeless Diamond
Boeing X-20 Dina-soar
B-21 Raider
and a set of B-2 intakes.

I ordered direct from AMP. The package arrived in a rather smaller box than expected; they had flattened all of the box tops, and stacked the kits in the smallest box they'd fit in.

Gondor

Received from eBay today

1 x 1/72 HADMODELS 72096 MiG-21 BIS  Marking for Indian, Russian and Hungarian aircraft.

That's not a silly idea at all - I wish more places would do that.
(Postage to here is usually the deal-breaker for me.)
There again, there would still be folk that would complain about it; maybe if it was offered as an option?

Managed to pick up an Airfix 1:72 Sea King HAR.3 for £12 from my LMS. Described as "damaged" due to the paints etc missing, but still a bargain.

Bit of a nostalgia buy for me as the 80's edition was the first kit I ever built with my dad.

While prowling through the local Hobbycraft for some RAF Hemp paint I came across a 1/72 Revell Ta-152H kit.

I didn't even know Revell DID a Ta-152-H, and of course it ended up in my hands as it's got long wings to kick off with!  ;D  It turns out they've had it in their range for ages, and I never noticed, so I've no idea how good, or bad, it is. Anyone got any opinions on it?

It's the old Frog kit from 1970. Been in the Revell range since 1977. Considered to be rather basic, but then that all depends on what you want to do with it.

I built that one waaaaaay back when, and wasn't too impressed. Looks like Revell have tidied it up a bit perhaps, as it's quite neat now.

It'll need longer wings of course................  ;)
