Captain Canada

Miniwing Bird Dog in 1/144 scale. I was looking for something universal for scale, so that was a good excuse to open a box of Smarties lol.

The only one I can find is in Texas (logically........) and he doesn't list a Jaguar wing in his range.

Opps, edited the company name LoneStar in Japan.

A Bird Dog in 1/144?  :o

Don't you need an electron microscope to build that?
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

At least a 50 - 100x magnifier.  The electron microscope would be for the interior.

From ebay:

Heller 1/288th Ariane IV space rocket. Already got a couple of these, mainly for the ESA & flags-of-all-nations decals, but the rocket's got some tasty bits on it too. It could very easily scaleorama to 1/72nd as a tactical surface-to-surface missile on a tracked chassis.

Revell 1/56th Bomarc missile. Cheap because it's in a bag with no decals and lots of bits off the sprues.

#1283
From Ebay:

Old Revell 1/48th scale F-104 Starfighter, with canopy and decals missing, for £8.00.

Spares box fodder: who couldn't do with some bigger Starfighter wings?

Edit: remarkably, a 1/48th Starfighter STILL has less wing area than a 1/72nd Voodoo, F-105 or Phantom... :o

Received from the BIG yellow H today

1 x 1/72 RS Models 92184 Flettner Fi 282 B-2

I have always been intrigued by this machine and the other machines of this period, so the chance came and I bought one.

Due to arrive early next week:

1 x Eduard 1/48 Mil Mi-24V/Mi-35 in Czech AF Service Decals for Zvezda kits (ED D48054) - has Czech flag decals, which I thought I had, but don't.
2 x SKP Model 1/35 Bradley Lenses and Taillights for Meng kits (SKP-293) - I have both versions of the Meng Bradleys & these look good
2 x Reskit 1/48 AN / ALQ-119 ECM Pod (long length version) for A-7, A-10, F-4, F-16, F-105, F-111 (RS48-0409) - the only one of those aircraft I don't have in 1/48 is the F-16
2 x Eduard 1/48 DB-7 Boston III Canopies Masking for HK Models kits (ED EX1126) - two because I don't trust myself to remove them between paint coats without damaging thaem
1 x HSeng 1/1 Airbrush Compressor (pump) w/Cooling Fan and Tank (HS-AF186) - because my 10-years-old-plus ArtLogic compressor died
1 x Iwata (by Anest) 1/1 Dual-Action Gravity Feed Cup Airbrush [nozzle: 0.2mm] (IWHP-BP) - just to accompany the compressor, you understand, so it didn't feel alone amongst those accessories

Yes, I know the last two are, officially, "Additions to my Toolkit" but, at least, now the box will be big enough for the shipping sticker!  ;D  ;)

Just placed an order with Kingkit for a pack of Revell paint brushes,  1/72 C-130J RAF decals and a 1/72 AC-119 Stinger Gunship.
The guns will be used on the Avro Shackleton MR.2/SJMc Doncaster GRA.1.
Fairchild produced various line drawings based on the C-119, and the wings work really well on the Mach2 Argosy. I will have to check if the C-119 was fitted with Rolls-Royce Dart engines.
