If it aint broke ,,fix it until it is .
Over kill is often very understated .
I know the voices in my head ain't real but they do come up with some great ideas.
Theres few of lifes problems that can't be solved with the proper application of a high explosive projectile .

Thank you all, gentlemen!

Had a great time Grandpa-ing but, man, I keep forgetting how exhausting two active youngsters can be! ;D

Pretty rough weather while we were away, too. Both there & here.

I have to fix up the garden here a bit tomorrow, wind blew over the tree-guards I have protecting the trees from the dogs.

Daughter #2 fixed most of them but she couldn't figure out how to fix one, so I'll do that, & check for any other damage.

Been there, done that, totally sympathise!   A brisk lie-down is called for.

Not forgetting to have a nice brew as well... hot or cold, whatever works for you.

I've not done any modelling for a few (maybe "some") weeks now, until today, when I heated the ammo feed chutes for the quad-50s on the PBRs & bent them.

Hopefully this will start a general movement towards things progressing in a positive direction.

The feed chutes were part of my problem, I tend to prevaricate before doing something I've never done before (in this instance: heat & bend resin parts*), so I partially tidied the modelling room, bought a small, folding travel hair-drier to heat the chutes (& any further resin ammo chutes & belts, & other stuff) with - Hey, it cost a whole $19 and I can dry my hair with it! ;D

However, the delay has caused a slump in my modelling mojo for these builds, but I don't want to stop now or they'll end up like a couple of other builds I can see daily, that have been sitting a mere one or two steps from completion for years!  :banghead:  :banghead:

Anyway, let's see what happens over the next few days.

Don't worry about incomplete items.  Save all that angst for using over something really serious.  To quote an elderly Hebridean I once met  "Aye, well now;  When the Good Lord made time He made quite a few bucketfuls spare"  They will still be there when you next feel inclined to work on them.

I wasn't even aware you could heat and bend resin ?
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

It bends under load over time.  I have some 1/25 Hot Rods with resin front axles which sagged alarmingly.  If you prop a block under them the wheels droop back into roughly the right position.  ThePartsBox now make their resin axles with a reinforcing wire embedded in them.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.  Revelling in numptytism.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed, badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry.
