That and the sound... both the MD's 30mm guns and the BT's 20mm cannon sound like a .50 cal... ;D
Yeah, they did do a good job for 1983, and IMO, the flying scenes are very good.

That's a classic spark plug system they would have used in those days 😆
If you look closely at the muzzles of the guns on Airwolf you can see what look like sights..nope ..spark plugs
If it aint broke ,,fix it until it is .
Over kill is often very understated .
I know the voices in my head ain't real but they do come up with some great ideas.
Theres few of lifes problems that can't be solved with the proper application of a high explosive projectile .

Propane cannon and spark plugs... it does the job, if you're on a budget.
And still way better than the system I saw once on a Jet Ranger(!), where when the 'minigun' fired, the flashes moved around the ring, not just flashing from the top barrel...  :banghead:

I still see the front sighting unit of BT wobbling in the slipstream...

I've also wondered whether the "This thing is nose-heavier than the Ayatollah" line was an ad-lib, quoting from one of the stunt pilots... I wouldn't be a bit surprised.

Well "nose-heavier than the rabbi" could get someone in trouble...

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

For anyone interested in one of these kits, they are now in production, and through Black Diamond decals, and 3D printed kits, on Facebook.

I am tempted by an Airwolf, with the weapons installed.

Airwolf II had the guns built into the sponsons and the underside ADF pod was one tube only.  Flying scenes aside, it's an awful episode.

I remember it, wasn't it also called Redwolf?

Yeah.  The villain is frankly awful and it's just badly written.

Sounds favourite, such a shame they let the series nose dive, and the final series was a joke.
