Today for Father's Day, I had the joy to start my XP-3851 models, both A-3 and C-2, but my wife said that I bought them myself so, to fully celebrate this day, I am allowed to order one more model! And this will be the F-16ZA-4, scale 1/144, from a Revell kit I bought several times that included 2 fins and 2 sets of tailplanes. I will use them all (from 2 kits)! Delivery scheduled this Wednesday...

A F-16 zwilling does not require a simple layout...: <_<

Will it have the variable exhaust nozzles? What about something at the wing tips? Smoke generators are good for airshows.

Tophe

Ahem, I had jet at wingtips on a previous F-16: https://www.whatifmodellers.com/index.php?topic=48060.0
now I think there will be no visible engine at all, you see there are no air intakes under the noses (on the front view) so I plan no exhaust at all on the rear. Powered by magics or something, this seems enough in my dreams. ;)

Well well well I understand you need explanation.
Maybe this is not "rational" explanation but as what-ifers we do not require that, do we?
Here is the secret, revealed to you: ;)

All I know is pity the poor bird that gets in front of this magic machine!
Wonderful madness! Carry on!

Thanks!
(that is not what the psychiatrist say but I do) ;)

I don't pretend that some magic carpets are supersonic actually, I just mean that some magic carpets look like replicas of famous aircraft which are supersonic (scale 1, in metal)... :-\ ;D

Wave Lift, I've seen it but never flown in it.

At my club, The Cotswold Gliding Club, we're right on the eastern end of a wave from the Brecon Beacons, when it's really blowing and the wind is westerly. Just now and then we see lenticulars waaaaay up there above the Severn, but you need a really good sailplane and be an excpetional pilot to reach them.

I'm have neither of those attributes however.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Regards
Kit

It's back to that slight misquote  I gave you some time ago from "The Moody Blues"  ".........speeding through the universe; thinking is the best way to travel......"   It's all done by the power of the pilot's thoughts!!

And here's the full piece for those who want to listen.

"If you can keep your head when all about you
Are losing theirs and blaming it on you....."
It  means that you read  the instruction sheet

I was afraid not to understand with broad American accent, but I found the lyrics written at

And this is a perfect lesson, thanks!
<_< ;) ;D

Wrong: Wikipedia tells me they are British, sorry...

Here are the parts I plan to use on this model: 2 canopies, 2 noses, 4 fins, 8 tailplanes, simply ;)
