Anyone ever heard of this one before?

It looks like it has a whole interior!

A fellow modeller has a Frog Rotodyne, I wonder if it is a repop of that?

Well I am watching it, but I bet the collectors will sink their teeth into the auction and it will become inflated beyond beliwf!

Not until it showed up on E-Bay.  But since it's the same price as the Airfix ones there, I went ahead and bid on it.  Yep, for those who weren't aware of it, "Cateagle73" on E-Bay is me.  The name is one used in other hobbies and I decided to carry it over.  I will definitely post info and pics if I win.

OK, OK, I'll be a good fellow modeler and stay out of that auction. Besides, for my COD bird I'm using military-type fold up seats lined along the walls, so that interior would go to waste.

However, I expect to see it built-up in exchange for not outbidding you!

If it goes to another member here, getting outbid wouldn't bother me a bit.  I'm not that possessive  B)   I will be amenable to loaning parts for cloning purposes if I do win.  I need to bid on an Airfix one, too, to have a solid basis for comparison.

Building will go slowly in any case; there are several competing requests for my time with work and wife definitely having priority and then this and other hobbies.

Lee, that's not my full bid, that's just where it started.  Finding an Airfix one is eas enough, I'll probably go after one of those after this auction closes.I agree with you on one thing, you do have to wonder what secluded warehouse has all the Frog molds that haven't shown up lots of other places.

Well, I guess I'm going to just have to do the Airfix Rotodyne, the one I was bidding on, as well as the other one I mentioned here, has gone beyond what I can justify spending at the moment.  If anyone wants to jump in before it closes, feel free.

All this talk is killing me ! I need an Airfix Rotodyne now ! Operating off of HMCS Eagle during the battle for the Malvinas in May of 1982.
