A very tall landing gear would be fragile, so this design would be refused in the design bureau, but we what-ifers may enjoy the waste coming from wrong designs, exploring imperfect possibilities... ;D

With the prototype V-173, it would be possible also:

Oh yes!

It'd cost a FORTUNE to build in plastic though.  :o

And shouldn't it have a contra-prop on the centre engine?
Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

The same could be done on the Boeing basis:

I will not build this one anyway, but the single engine one. I have ordered the Mustang kit because I needed tubes of putty and they will come together to my home, but a single Mustang, not 3... :-\ ;D

Out of the Flapjack subject, here is the related Triplex Engine Mustang, "normal"... ;D

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

great ideas, very doable in plastic (with a sufficient stash, that is)

I think the only role for this aircraft is reconnoissance.  There's certainly nowhere to put ordnance without resorting to synchronization - and I've never liked that.  It seems to me that it'd reduce the rate of fire - only a good thing in hand-held weaponry, IMHO.

In my (pacifist) mind, the only role is "enjoyment" (for dreamers)... ;D

I am glad you are inspired... ;)

At first I thought you meant this:
Thanks I did not know this, I may use the profile to add a Mustang/Monogram-Flapjack hybrid. I may try.
The missing links are proving the Monogram Flapjack was a Mustang (thanks!), see:

Love it.
