Quote from: comrade harps on January 01, 2026, 02:30:01 AMThere's whifs a plenty illustrating this video .

This is my favourite.

An F-111 with new intakes might have cured some of its engine problems.

The others look nothing like an EB-66 but are interesting in their shapes. One looks definitely Soviet. At least the quality of the images are much better than usual. No jet engines with intakes and no exhaust or props with all the blades on one side. Kitbashing potential.

A lot of them have a B-66 like tail, but l can see an A-6 Intruder nose on one and a F-105 nose on another. Then, as others gave pointed out,  there's one with the Meteor engine nacelles (and a Buccaneer tail).

I do like a few have USAF markings, except for the German flag fin flash.

They do look plausible though. Definitely better than some AI planes about. It might be a bit of a concern when the AI product is real world identical, though. Meanwhile, the hallucinations are wild.
Whatever.

And they all purport to be EB-66s, but none of them are the same as any other one! His AI software isn't very consistent......

A hint of Vautour, Meteor and Pucara to me

I see the Meteor nacelles, a Buccaneer tail and the fuselage and canopy of the B-45 Tornado. It's quite attractive.
Whatever.

What If The V-22 Was A Gunship? - by Messier 82

This is built using a game called Flyout which looks right up our street. It lets you design and fly aircraft in extraordinary detail, far more so, and more realistically, than in something like Kerbal Space Program.

Another cracking video by Messier 82. This time he's developed a 1970s flying wing fighter/attack aircraft called the Finch:

I give it a week & a certain pumpkin will get bored of his current game & will see this video, & want one as a reward for "We won! Of course we won! Otherwise we'd still be there! Right?" (AKA "Dumping it in someone else's lap & running").

Oh, Fred's going to love this one!

Messier 82 has done it again, this time with a pirate flying-boat gunship, with a MANPADS dorsal turret...

It's a good start.  Is it an amphibian?  If not it needs to be.  It should also have a more piratical paintjob.

And a flying bridge.

Yes, in fact in the video it ONLY takes off from a runway, although he assures us in the pinned comment that it can operate from water, he just forgot to put shots of it in the final cut.
