You're not kidding! His AI-fu is surely very strong! How about this lot for inspiration?

And they all purport to be EB-66s, but none of them are the same as any other one! His AI software isn't very consistent......
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed, badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry.

There's certainly plenty for inspiration there.

I was thinking Skywarrior myself  more than Destroyer, didn't they have sideways ejection seats?

IIRC the Skywarrior didn't have ANY ejector seats, it was a bone of contention with the crews.

This is my favourite.

An F-111 with new intakes might have cured some of its engine problems.

The others look nothing like an EB-66 but are interesting in their shapes. One looks definitely Soviet. At least the quality of the images are much better than usual. No jet engines with intakes and no exhaust or props with all the blades on one side. Kitbashing potential.

What Kit said. They had a tunnel they were supposed to take turns jumping though.

One of the reasons the B-66 cockpit looks so different is that the USAF insisted on redesigning it to take ejection seats.

It always helps crew morale when they think the higher-ups value the investment put into their training... and their lives, too, of course...

Of course there was Macnamera who said its was cheaper to train new pilots than to try and rescue downed pilots. What a jerk he was.

According to whom?
Sounds like the usual apocryphal BS that's circulated for decades directed at anybody
that some people don't like, the Hanoi Jane crap, Wilson was a Soviet tool etc. etc.

The historical record is clear that McNamara was personally opposed to the war in Vietnam,
he knew it was unwinnable, so why would he make such an idiotic public statement? It
sounds more likely that some aspect of his USAAF logistical analysis and number crunching
role during WWII has been misquoted out of context. Most likely deliberately and maliciously
without the actual context. For some idiotic reason people still like to badmouth Ike's "whiz kids",
but their analysis and its impact on logistics planning was one of the most important aspects of
winning WWII. Ike personally experienced the logistical mess during WWI and he never forgot,
which is why he pulled in the whiz-kids, and others from business, to make sure that the
behemoth that was about to be birthed didn't choke in its bassinet. The Allies dominated in
logistics and at the end of the day it's what won the war. McNamara was one of those "whiz-kids".

To be blunt, anything claimed about controversial people from the '50s and '60s needs to
be taken with a large grain of salt. A lot of BS has been spewed by people with an axe to
grind.
