I'm surprised Messerschmitt didn't do something similar IRL.  It seems so obvious.
It is after all almost exactly what Yak did.

Probably too much invested in the 262 - time/money/political capital...
And they may even have realized a newer design would be better*

*there again, with Willy's love/ of obsession with his 109 design, who knows...

Total crap, but they do have some interesting - from a modeling standpoint - aircraft featured.

That's utter RUBBISH! The few real pics of Hurricanes they include are late models with 4 bladed props! The rest seem to have been invented by a demented AI system.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage

All true, all true - but, my point was that some of those I'd never even thought of before.  A tiny radial engine with ejector exhausts in a row down each side of the cowling, as if it were pretending to be a V12?  Bifurcated radiator under the pilot's feet?  Podded gatling guns under the wings?  All rubbish, but it does lead to some questions.

What if Spitfire wings were mated to a Hurri fuselage?  Or vice versa?  Would that have been a great better than the Seafire?  Would an inverted engine given the pilot better visibility over the nose?

What about Typhoon or Tempest wings on a Hurri?  or a Spit?

I'm guessing that someone here has answered these questions - if so, I'd love to see them.  :)

You get the Tempest...

And there were real-world "mock radials", most promiment one was the German Jumo 213 with its annular radiator, and a similar layout was tested on a Tempest V to get rid of the draggy chin radiator.

Hilarious.
Particularly those aircraft with narrow track UC folding inwards, and the trimotors with engines and four guns in each wing mounted nacelle.
