I'd suggest Humbrol 72 (Khaki Drill) or 168 (RAF Hemp)...

I added water today, and the resulting hue came out remarkably green..  ;)

Amazing how chemistry works itself out, isn't it... ;D

Yes and no. Still separate individual lessons..

There's always a hitch...  :-\

Confirmation for the mid lass this weekend. Lovely weather meant garden party.
No modelling, accordingly, but a very good weekend indeed!

Just to ensure everyone concerned that I'm still around, just busy with all sorts of other, less important things such as robot lawnmowers (one is too many - I manage five.. ), cars (don't even mention Land Rovers right now..) and last but annoyingly least - work. Having put myself in a situation where I have at least two fulltime jobs, time has become a scarcity. I really have to do something about that, but for now, I have to just churn on for a bit.

Praise the Lord and pass the ammunition!

Just keep on keeping on, we'll still be here when you get back.
All the best.

That's not a nice way to address the kids and Mrs  ;)

One of the chores I was coerced into today was a trip to Ikea to look at lounge room furniture and rugs (yawn).  For me though this always means buying meatballs, rosti, and chocolate oat biscuits.

That's all, carry on.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

Just to let you know I have neither died nor given up on you (or the hobby), but I've been to Greece for a baptism of a friends son. Quite interesting procedure, taking place in a mountain monastery involving all the chanting monks, gold icons, oil ointments and smoking incents you might imagine, and obviously followed by a reasonably solid party including unreasonable amounts of food and drink, howling children, complaining elders and exotic (no, not in THAT way) dancing, among other things. Good fun, and a lovely experince for us as foreigners in particular, actually.
We followed up by having a week at an island, complete with ruins, beaches and whatnot, making for a very nice trip indeed. Daily temperatures at about 36 C and water temperatures not even 10 C below that meant that coming home felt like going from Scandinavian summer to Scandinavian Christmas in a jiff. Not entirely pleasing..

Modelling wise - well, let's say I'm probably stalling on my started projects, most possibly looking at something hellenic instead. That would mean adding one or two projects to the ever growing list of "ongoing" builds, but hey - we do this for fun, not for actually completing and reporting!

I hope y'all been good in my absence, and it'll take me a week or two to catch up..

Something Hellenic???   A Greek Air Force Tunnan, perhaps.............or maybe a Hellenic Navy Buccaneer..............or even a Greek Army  Alouette?

As to our behaviour, there are no reports of anyone in this company being arrested  (yet).

Enjoy catching up!

I might start with something nigh on RW, such as a M2000C in the oh so lovely Phantasma scheme, maybe? Or a M F1CG with american weaponry rather than the french missiles for commonality with the F-4's/F-16's? Or i'll just cave in and complete the odd SAAB or Danish green machine..
EDIT: The Hellenic M F1CG's were apparently wired for Sidewinders already, so I just might have to add slammers as well, then, to fit the whif template..
The M2000's however seems only to have added a US ECM system, otherwise being rather standard, and as their original two tone paint scheme is rather close to the Phantasma, that mod could be outright sneaky..

Considering the level of the jokes in here, your second statement, Sir, seems more a result of poor policing than law abidement..  ;)
