It's Christmas !  or at least it feels like it.

Not one but two Hasegawa 109 G's arrived this morning. Thank you Gondor

Gondor

Two fitted in the box as easily as one and I could not remember if I had a possible project for the second one either so I sent it to a good home. Least I could do after you sent the postage

The Luft '46 kits are the Huma 209 (actual derived from the 109 not the racer version), Huma 309 and Huma 609 (the Huma 309Z). There's the AModel 109 W, 109 Z, an RS Resins 109 X and a a CMK 109 S (a two seater like the G-12). Finally there's a Unicraft single jet 109 TL.1 and a me262 look-a-like 109TL.

I'm also going to do a 109 M ram jet version from the K and the 109 biplane of an E with a throwaway top wing used to carry fuel (!).

And in true What-if style I'm going to marry three 109's to a P-38 just for the sheer hell of it !

Very cool. I'm off to google the 109s you mentioned, as I really don't know much about them ! I've had an idea on the back burner ( well, part started anyway ) using four 109s attached together and dropped from an airship, for attacking NA.

How do they get home again?
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

They don't or mightn't. They seperate from the flying bomb and fight their way out to rejoin the airship. Hook I guess like the US did.

I think you should aim for an appropriate total.  Like 109...

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

Hehehe.  ;D

The secretary of my local model club is nuts about Starfighters and has connections with RAE Boscombe Down. He put on a one man model show for them once which included 104 F-104s! Needless to say many of them were Italian as the Regie seemed to have a 'special scheme' for every one of its F-104s at the time!

How do they get home again?

I assumed that they'd attack the refineries of the Gulf Coast and then fly out and get themselves interned in Mexico.
