I will, Chris. It's the least i can do.

So, i'm back to work and as is typical, real life stuff got in the way and it was almost 9 p.m. when i got home. Had to drop my car off at the mechanic for some maintenance and pick up a couple of packages from the local Post Office... Packages of modelling goodies.

Finally got the Freedom Models 1/48 F-20A kit so now, i've got all 3 kits i wanted of this fighter, these and also the 1/72 Hasegawa kit. Also got the Reedoak figures and i haven't even opened the packages to check the kit and the figures because i sat at the bench after dinner and fell asleep almost immediately after laying back on the chair...  :banghead:
Yesterday i aonly managed to lay a couple of decals on the Tomahawk... Colorado decals... they suck!!
Seem like they're immune to solving solutions... used Microset/Sol and even the Tamiya Mark fit strong and these decals stay the same, no signs of conforming to panel lines...
The worst part is that these sheets are the only one i have that cover the WWII period of the Aeronáutica Militar and the correct markings aren't easy to find so, not much i can do but use them and be patient...

No energy left to do more than type on the computer tonight... will try to finish the decals tomorrow after work... but i'm sure something will come up and the next day it's same and i'll only have time and energy to do something during the weekend... :-\

Ladies and gentlemen, i'm wiping my drool as i'm typing this because my Lady has given birth to our beautiful little angel Olivia!

You cannot view this attachment.

OlĂvia came into this world this past Tuesday at around 19:13 and i'm more than happy to say that both of my ladies are healthy and we're all now resting at home.
It's easy to see what is now my main priority in life...
Now that she's here, life will be very different as expected and it's obvious that i'll do whatever it takes to make sure that my ladies have all they need to be happy. I'm looking forward to the future.

I'll keep doing my own stuff as life allows it and i'm sure i'll have a few models to show sometime soon but again, obviously not a priority.
All i know is that i'm a lucky guy and life is now better than ever...

all the very best wishes to all of you
i hope things continue to go well, and you still manage to get some modelling time in, amongst the other more important duties.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.  Revelling in numptytism.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed, badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry.

We thank you all, my friends!
Patricia is a warrior and she deserves all the credit on our little miracle.
Things weren't all smooth going because the birth was induced due to the damned gestational diabetes but, the baby wasn't really ready and didn't react well. There was a risk of heart failure and the doctors rushed Patricia into surgery to extract the baby by cesarean section so, 20 minutes later the pediatrician brought me my little girl and another 30 or so later, Patricia was back in our room safe and sound, despite being in a bit of pain and under the anesthetics' effect.
Thankfully everything was done in time and with the best care we can afford around here. I'd rather pay to have the best care for my ladies than risking it in the national health system and i'm almost certain the experience would've been much worse for both of them.

Regarding my daughter's future in scale modelling, she currently has over 300 aircraft kits to choose from and daddy will buy whatever she fancies that is not in the stash so, whenever she's ready, daddy will help her.

Congratulations to you and your wife on a beautiful baby girl! Sounds like she has you wrapped around her tiny fingers already! And that's a good thing.
Some old Monogram kits would be great starters.

Congratulations on your miniature scale model build!      ;)
In want of hobby space!  The kitchen table is never stable.  Still managing to get some building done.

DogfighterZen

Thank you, guys! We appreciate your words! 🙏
I won't lie, heart melt was instant and tears rolled out of my eyes when she was put in my arms, opened her eyes and looked at me...
My wife and i spent the first night awake just looking at her...

I imagine that when Olivia is old enough for scale models, we'll find something suitable for a good start and i do have some Monogram oldies in the stash.
