The Wooksta!

One featured as a USAF trainer, the Skyfox, in an early season 1 episode of Airwolf

Just to be clear, the "Skyfox" that KP are producing is the Aero L-39NG Skyfox, which is basically an L-39 Albatross trainer with a new engine and avionics. If it's a refit then it keeps the original wing and permanent tip tanks, but if it's new-build, then it has a wet wing and no tip tanks.

Didn't one of us here build a T-33/Skyfox lookalike just a short while ago?

Phil Cater was working on a resin kit, not sure if martin actually built the Skyfox from it or not.

KP have come out with 4 boxings of a "newly tooled" Ouragan. I'm strangely tempted

Here's one of the boxings

Only a few ever made it into the wild.
I never finished my one. Its still on the shelf of doom.
The only one i think was ever finished was by the late jim bricknall.
And theres not much hope of any more as the masters have long since gone awol.
I always hope for the best.
Unfortunately,
experience has taught me to expect the worst.

Hmmm, French version of the Hawker Sea Hawk, would that more likely be the Mystere

PR19_Kit

Surely the Mystere was a French Hunter, just not as pretty.

I've always felt that the Super Mystere was more the French equivalent of the Hunter, with the Mystere and Ouragan more somewhere between the Sea Hawk and the Hawker P.1081.

Is there an aircraft as pretty as a Hunter?            Discuss, as they say in exam questions.
