Also, that boxing has one of the two airframes that wore UK roundels. One of the those machines later wore BAE house colours, which is on the box llid of one of the other kits. QinetiQ recently took delivery of several, they're not in a box but I imagine there'll be a an aftermarket decal sheet out in time.

Remember one of those being the camera ship for the Nimrod MRA.4 first take-off. The airfield at Woodford had an "intrusion" to it's boundary formed from a cul-de-sac with houses and lots of tall trees. We were all stood outside, watching the PC-9 trying to time his pass with the Nimrod taking off, and clearly looking sideways at the runway not ahead, and about twenty people started saying,

"Trees. Trees mate. Trees.... TREES!!!!"

Just then the PC-9's engine screamed and it shot up from behind the trees at about a 30 degree climb angle....

recently, they have released a 1/72 P-47C Thunderbolt in various boxings.

in the near future, for early 2026, they have announced a 1/72 Aero L-39NG Skyfox (with a WHIF decal option for an Austrian Air Force version)

but the surprise announcement is that theya re releasing various versions of the 1/72 Piper Cherokee 140/160/180 in different versions.
would love to make a military trainer or COIN version of that aircraft, among others

It also looks like they're releasing two boxings of the FROG Canberra B(I).8 with new clear parts.

Interesting do we know who owned the original molds? Trying to think who, other than Heller and Frog, are possible candidates.

Aircraft like that need to be in 1/48th. I'll probably get some anyway, but a larger scale would be nice.

Indeed, I know what I was thinking about, but I need to consult with my solicitor before going public    I've removed my post

Anyway all goes to show how little I know about post WWII aircraft  and yes I know, 'cause I checked, that it first flew in Nov 1945, but that was post WWII

Now I would be floored if anyone would make a kit of the whiff in a box, Lockheed/Skyfox Corp/Boeing Skyfox! It's the conversion of the T-33 into a modern trainer with two engines and modernized aerodynamics.
