Watching the formation of 4 Seamews (I can't remember if they were RAF or FAA ones...) crossing Farnborough, Dad and I had enough time to eat most of our sandwich lunch before they finished! Talk about sloooooooooooooow!

I just have to have one of those, not quite sure why but I always found it fascinating.

That'll be the Magna one.  It was one of his early ones, I don't know if he remoulded it - he certainly changed the Firebrand TF.5 and the Firefly AS.7 (it was original a conversion.  I got one when it came out in 1993 in possibly the most horrible resin I have ever encountered.

I've got a Contrail one somewhere, which was one of his better kits.  White metal prop, injection undercarriage and decals.

You could well be right Lee, it does look a bit Magna-ish, that rather brittle orangy-yellow resin with wire moulded into the gear legs.
