Excellant! Prime Whiffing material as well as a seriously unknown RL aircraft. What's not to love

Looking forward to the Goose as well

Put the Short Seamew on floats like the Curtiss Seamew.
Make it even slower and more squirrely.
🤣

Watching the formation of 4 Seamews (I can't remember if they were RAF or FAA ones...) crossing Farnborough, Dad and I had enough time to eat most of our sandwich lunch before they finished! Talk about sloooooooooooooow!  :-\

I know it's in a book I have around here somewhere....

So, maybe there's hope for a Blackburn B54 and/or B. 88 yet? 🤔😂

I just have to have one of those, not quite sure why but I always found it fascinating.

I have a very poor resin kit of one, but I've never got up enough courage (or strength...) to start it.

Thorvic

Already on pre-order as  100% Project Cancelled and FAA cold war so right up my street.

I have some in 1/700 that will go on a light fleet carrier refit like Warrior,
Project Cancelled SIG Secretary, specialising in post war British RN warships, RN and RAF aircraft projects. Also USN and Russian warships

NARSES2

Must admit when I saw the announcement I was slightly suprised. Not up my street as they say, but best of luck to them with it. If it goes well lawd knows what other esoterica will follow
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

The Seamew is sleek and even pretty compared to the Blackburn Blackburn!

We could start an entire new thread about what's the ugliest aircraft in the world! Or a GB.

That'll be the Magna one.  It was one of his early ones, I don't know if he remoulded it - he certainly changed the Firebrand TF.5 and the Firefly AS.7 (it was original a conversion.  I got one when it came out in 1993 in possibly the most horrible resin I have ever encountered.

I've got a Contrail one somewhere, which was one of his better kits.  White metal prop, injection undercarriage and decals.

You could well be right Lee, it does look a bit Magna-ish, that rather brittle orangy-yellow resin with wire moulded into the gear legs.
