i see that sort of thing on Trademe quite a lot ,,76th scale tanks for $60 plus ...there's one crowd on there whos prices for every model they sell are pure dreamland material .
I use a Tamiya Hunting Panther in 35th as an example .,..most prices will be around the $ 65 buck mark..theirs will be  $120 +
I don't know who does their pricing but man o man they have zero ideas about it .

The best way would be to watch the item and see if it is sold. I do that with a few items on eBay that I may want to buy again, such as bases for ships.

Hahaha 😀 😆..No mate..they don't sell anything model wise ..it's a listed business on trademe who list an absolute ton of stuff including kitsets ..their not a dedicated model shop and I'll bet they thought they saw another way to make money by trying sell us kitsets at extremely stupid prices .
What also gets me is that their not selling anything nobody else has as well ..every model they sell somebody else has one too ..so these dudes really need to rethink their prices but if they want to remain greedy..oh well ..their loss 📉

Sometimes it's just down to the "competetive spirit" and you get a couple of bidders who just won't be beat. I've seen some things go for silly prices in the past
