... the presence of unused parts on the sprues indicates that they have other versions/boxings planned.

Radar nose?

There isn't a radar nose in the box AFAIK, but the breakdown would support doing that version in the future. The unused parts in the current boxing are ground-attack weapons.

Thanks H.

The Buccaneer has on odd feature: two of the pylons are separate, but two of them are moulded in one piece with half a rocket pod. That's a real pain if you're not using them but were looking forward to having a spare pair of 36-round 2" RN rocket pods.

How hard is to cut the rocket pod off the pylon?

Pass, I was just wandering by wondering what the cameras were doing, but it wasn't long after they'd announced the Hellcat.

It's the 1/24 Lysander III they held off releasing last year because of the Hellcat.  To be followed by 1/48 and 1/72 Lysander II/III kits.

Airfix's show announcement appears to be a 1/72nd scale Avro Vulcan?

Unless I've read the online Workbench incorrectly?

Interesting.  I hope they made it easily modable to become a B.1 version...

So that's the reason why the old Airfix Avro Vulcan prices are going up on eBay.
