With rulings like that the human race will become extinct as the kids will all die from fright at the first sign of danger that they see in their teens.  :banghead:  :banghead:
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Nice find Harold, some very interesting stuff on that page.

How the devil did they see to drive it?

Looks like there's a periscope on top, along with some prism viewing ports on the cab brow. I imagine if it went into production, there'd be something more conventional as they're likely to be knocked out.
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

But wouldn't that make them an invasive species?

They also made it into space, serving with the Alliance (Firefly)

Funderbirds Are Go!

Apparently these ran up and down Cleethorpes Beach in the 80s and 90s as something more exciting than donkey rides  ;D

Wow - that's an old Mk.1!

You can tell because all the sill lines are horizontal. On the Mk.2 and onwards, the front side windows and outboard front windows got a dropped sill line to improve the driver's vision to the corners of the vehicle.

Nothings more exciting than a donkey ride, esspecially when you hi-jack the donkeys  ;) They love a good race  ;D
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Oh, if we'd have frequented Cleethorpes I'd have pestered my parents mad to get a ride on on those. Although they probably wouldn't have stumped for it that's what grandparents are for though. ;D  We used to go to Bridlington and Scarborough, so we didn't have to pay the Humber Bridge tolls. I'm gutted. :(

There's an article on the guy who ran them. Seems he had a collection including DUKWs which he took over to Normandy for Band of Brothers. Even had a tallboy in the garden!

Hope it wasn't like those stories you occaisionaly hear about where someone has had a WWII grenade in their souvenir box for 75 year or more and they suddenly discover it's live  :o
