It certainly has . I built the Anigrand in plain old OD/NG but I know Mike McEvoy has done at least 3 in different liveries.

First Mixmaster skin is done but I need to do another 10 nose arts to join the 8 already done. Next skin will be something darker and over Korea...

That looks magnificent!

Does the model have the rearward firing guns in wing's trailing edges?

Yes. Next time around I'll see if I can show them firing.

No fighters chasing me on a quick mission but you can see the guns.

Cool. A camouflaged Britsh one in SEAC markings should look exotic?

Fantastic!

My mixed media kit of the Mixmaster has them too, in resin, but they look the very DEVIL to assemble into the vacform wings!  ;D

Nice one!

One hopes that an injection Mixmaster is on the to-do list of at least one of the more adventurous manufacturers.

It certainly would

I wasn't aware of the wing guns. The Anigrand kit doesn't include them, or if it did I missed them.

And they could possibly get the Jetmaster out of the same tools

There are twin 20 mm cannon on pivoting mounts in the fixed section between the flaps and the ailerons. Normally they hide behind upper and lower doors, but when needed the doors open vertically in line with the air flow and out pop the guns!

Quite how they're sighted I'm not sure, but there must be some periscopes involved somewhere.....

A solid nose version with  cannons and. 50 cals would  be great  too, and in service over Vietnam

I suspect there are too many differences in the fuselage lines and the wing, but I'd be happy to be proved wrong!

Co-pilot could turn his seat around and use a remote sighting station.

There was one projected for both prop and jet versions:

Prop: 16 x .50 cals or 1 x 75mm + 2 x .50 cals.

Jet: 16 x .50 cals + 36 x 5" rockets.
