I feel like I got left at the starting gate. Some of you might know I had a bit of a medical episode yesterday and I'm still a little, as my son put it, wobbly legged. This is the perfect therapy to get my brain bucket back in order. Here's the beginning of I hope is a trouble free build (HA!)

Is that the Monogram kit ? Love them big, beautiful kits. I need to find a supply of the old birds and stock up.....

Yep, it's the Revellogram ;)  I love this kit! I've been saving this particular one for some months ...waiting for this exact build!  :salute:

It's good to see you back at the bench, Mr Miller! I always really enjoy your builds and I'm sure this one will be amazing!

Thanks BdaB!! The cockpit and gear wells are in and the fuselage in buttoned up. not too bad for a few hours work. :)

That's some smart work on the IP - looks like the Eduard pre-painted stuff!

Thank you! All I did was shake and bake flat black/gray and dry brush w/ silver. nothing fancy, but enough to get the job done. I learned from the last build. Don't waste time and break like the wind! :P

For those of you who've never had a seizure, let me describe the fun. After it's been said and done, I feel like I've participated in a triathelon. Every muscle in my body hurts from convulsing and my tongue hurts from biting it! At least I didn't go incontinent.  The nurses at the Dr. office where it happened said I turned some wonderful shades of blue and purple from not moving air properly and coming out it ( which is called post dictial) is the worst feeling known to me. The one good thing that came out of this was they pumped me full of pure, intravenous drugs to"calm me down" that was the best part of the day! ;)   And that's the rest of the story.

Are Spinal Tap providing the musical background to this model?  :P

Jeez dude...take care of yourself !  Glad the modeling is providing some therapy too...I'm sure it will be much greater than those stonehenge sculptures you made.

I have to say though, that cockpit is pretty black.  I mean, how much more black can you get?

(In my best fake British accent) Yes, but it does go to 11!

Holy smokes, Eddie...how many are you going to build this week?  Looking cool...I hope the Navy takes you up on designing their next series of jet schemes!

Looking good !

Sorry to hear about the health woes, Eddie.
