I've built many of these Revell Eagles, so I know where the flaws are ahead of time. Unfortunately, I forgot about my own flaws. I can NEVER remember to paint the yellow first! Still trippin' forward at the speed of light.

I'm amazed at the progress on this. My own take on the one week build is to start with a small kit with as few parts as possible - never in a thousand years would I contemplate a 1/48 Eagle!!      And it's looking great so far

Thank you! I've been chomping at the bit to get on with this one for sometime now. If I hadn't had my medical emergency on the 23rd, I probably would have been further along. Plus, the rain here has tried to screw up my finish (too much humidity), but I should be done with the blue paint by tomorrow.

I thought I'd show a little progress for tonight. The before and after of drilling out the wheelhubs. The canopy has been dunked in future and the paintwork continues on the fuselage.

Alright, here's the general lay out of the paint. The yellow needs touch up, but other than that, all is moving forward well. Maybe because this build has drawn blood. Yep, I drop a x-acto knife w/ a new blade last night and it sunk into my thigh about a 1/4". Sorry, no pictures this time. Too busy cursing....  :dum:

Thanks BdaB, but don't try any of these stunts at home. They are reserved for master fumble fingers, such as myself.

Here's the wheels that are done and the beginnings of the clear coat. It may seem a bit uneven, but I'm only putting it down where the decals are going to go for now.

Getting close. I might finish on time! I've had to piece together a lot of these decals. This sheet does not come with the #6, so I cut apart a couple of #3s and come up with a decent opposing solo.
