Lovely looking aeroplane and a lovely shot too, well done.

Last week at YYC.

Watched the Antonov An-124 landing and then a day or so later, a Voyager KC-2 arrived.

But the star sighting last week was Air Canada's new 737 Max-8. Spotted it early Thursday morning while it was still dark, on the de-icing pad Air Canada uses. Then about an hour and a half later, watched it take-off. It did that every hour on the hour for the rest of the morning, and then after it's last flight, pulled into a gate right where I was working.

Another new sighting was an airline I've not seen at YYC before, quite an attractive scheme too. It was an InterJet aircraft

Captain Canada

Laying in my bed hungover, I hear a strange sound. Run out to kitchen, grabbed my camera and headed out on to the deck. A Sea King ! Wow ! They are retiring them so this was a huge surprise.

Here at Prestwick as I type this is this Airbus A350. Owned by Airbus industries he is doing single circuits, landing, taxying round, and of for another one. Why? I have no idea.

These are taken from just outside my back door.

Rather topically, in view of Thorvic's recent posting of his finished FAA Merlin, one of them came right o'head my house y'day early evening at a VERY low altitude. Those five BERP rotor blades make a very strange noise, half way between a Sea King and a Chinook.  :o

As I get quite a number of them passing by here going in and out of Prestwick, my ears say that there is also a hint of C-47/Dakota as well. Seriously.
