Captain Canada

Had to do a trip to Toronto today to pick up some tools. This Clunk is preserved on Derry Road in Malton ( Toronto if you will ) close to where the Avro factory was.

What a beauty. A big beauty !

How to reduce carbon emissions - Tip #1 - Walk to the Bar for drinks.

Sweet, but she could do with a little TLC on that tip tank.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

Wonderful aeroplane, the Clunk! And HUGE with it, but then Canada's a big country of course.

Boring, ordinary day here:  two Chinooks, a Hercules at not very  many feet above ground level, a brace of Typhoons heading for Wales and a grey Islander pottering about near the Special Forces training area at Pontrilas (just south of Hereford)........and that's before 10:00 am.   It may get more interesting later.

There's a newer monument just beyond the Clunk, I'm guessing some numpty in a truck or other piece of machinery backed into it. You can see creases all the way around as if it's been pushed up.

I think that's Rat and his Dad, or his son in the cockpit. They like to sneak over there and play a little Cold War intercept

Chinooks and Typhoons ? Oh yeah...my idea of a boring day

Llewellyn Ap Whatever getting uppity again ?  ;D
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Caught a KC-135 cruising over our shop today. By the time I ran into the shop, through the hall to my office, grabbed my back pack, took out the camera bag, swapped lenses, this is where he was.

Very strange chopper over East London. Half of me swears it was a Puma, the other half that it was something similar but Russian.

Captain Canada

Did you see Rambo walking the streets ?

Heading back from Oxford toward home today I saw a 'C-17' turning steeply onto the approach for Brize Norton.

Then I saw it didn't have any winglets, and realised it was an A400M, the first one I've ever seen!
