Hawkeye

Its N260DV and I looked it up. It is registered but the owner has requested disclosure of who owns it not be public. Many times the registration is linked to a leasing or lien holder of the aircraft. I know of one locally owned and operated aircraft that had its registration amended to reflect a third party holding company even though the aircraft paid for and solely owned by the corporation that flies it. Many corporate owners also opt not to allow the flight tracking websites to publish their movements.

Its not the workbench that makes the model, it is the modeler at the workbench.

Understandable, could give away info helpfull to a competitor
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Another  CAVU  day in Northern England.  Nothing in the sky.  No clouds,  no air  ambulance, no annoying Reims Cessna 172 doing "jollies" from the local airport, not even any high level commercial traffic.  Just the birds aviating gently past!

The exact opposite in the Severn Estuary! An 8/8 cloud base at around 500 ft and I can JUST see  the opposite bank of the river. 208 Sqdn's Buccs would reckon it's CAVU here of course......
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

CAVU once more, but the traffic is making up for yesterday.  14  high level commercial flights, each leaving a white trail,  the air ambulance (road traffic accident a few miles away on a slithery bit of narrow lane) a very smoky hercules, probably heading for Otterburn Ranges,  and a couple of airbourne mopeds (microlights) moving very slowly west to east.  The latter seem to be machines for converting fuel into annoyance. They are low enough to have a pop at   with my bow if I were so inclined--------perhaps not, I should imagine that the Air Accident Investigation people would look askance at a pilot pinned to his own inlet manifold by a 36 inch hunting  arrow.

My Canon 100-400mm. The Emirates was directly overhead at 38,000 feet.

These weren't flying so high...

Saw last night but unfortunately not photographed, two owls, sitting on my neighbour's TV aerial.  I live backed onto some parkland, next to a school, in the middle of suburbia so it's nice to know there is a bit of wildlife around, other than snakes and insects.  I heard them calling and I glanced up to see what it was and saw them silhouetted against the evening glow.

Oddly enough this past weekend I happened to have 9 V-22 Ospreys fly over my house. (!) One of the coolest experiences I've had in a while.

Had two Ospreys on final into KBFL today, just stepped out of my office to see them beginning to rotate the nacelles for landing. Made a bit of a racket, thought it was the Hind from the NTC in Barstow making a visit.

That's pretty awesome. I was able to get into one at an airshow one time on the tarmac, but I'm sure that would be an interesting experience to see them land.

Got beaten up by a Brit Army Lynx that had just lifted off from RAF Brize Norton and was heading north. He didn't seem to be taking TOO much notice of the low flying restrictions imposed in the area as I could FEEL the thump of the rotors as he passed directly o'head!
