What a wonderful pic though, I never thought I'd see something like that in my lifetime.

Not seen but felt. There was a distant roar, felt it in my chest. Checked Flight Radar, there was a Typhoon manoeuvring, about 12 miles away!

Captain Canada

Seeing that airship would be neat.

A Merlin engined 'something' flew upstream over the Severn this afternoon. I've no idea what it was as the cloudbase was only about 500 ft, but it had to be a Hurricane or a Spitfire.

Suppose it COULD have been a Balliol, or a Mustang, or even a FIAT G59, but somehow I doubt it...................

Possibly, yes, but I've never seen one this far west before.

A lot of them didn't make it past the channel.  ;D

Just a few minutes ago, four T-6-SNJ Texans from the Commemorative Air Force (CAF) flew over, as part of their practice for the Veterans Day flyover. I barely got to the window on time to see them flying North-East:

There were four that flew over the Dodgers home opener for the World Series. Cool, but not as cool as the real deal

Another sighting of the Pathfinder 1 over a work project area.  Seemed to be flying a little higher and a little faster (not by much).  It's trailed by a large copter drone about 300 feet behind.  Heading up and down San Francisco Bay, and turning in its own length or close at each end by reversing thrust on the motors on one side.  All I could think of was rigid airships 120 years ago folding in half when they tried that!  Landing again seemed easy and without a large crew or a bunch of dangling lines.  And then it took off again. Only pictures were from a phone camera and really don't add anything, so not posted here.  Still a nerdy thrill to see it in flight while driving down the freeway!

A Huey flew over today.

Mrs z said "is that a helicoptor?" and it was.  She has watched a heap of Tour of Duty and China Beach.

Nothing! The cloudbase is about 10 ft at the moment, IFR flying only.

And any excuse/opportunity to see Dana Delany? Works for me...

I'm currently enjoying her performance in Tulsa King.  Robert Patrick is just plain evil.  Some great acting - except for Stallone.  he's just terrible.
