Didn't know she was in that... huh...  ... sorry Dana, not enough of a draw to make me sit through that sort of programme...

Actually, seen near  Ludgershall on the way back from visiting No1 son and family near Southampton.  An A400M very low over Tidworth area. It dropped a single load by parachute and then aviated off towards Brize Norton. Two minutes later, a pair of Apache helicopters flying along the line of the A  342  road at about 250 feet.

A warbird flying low over Mornington as I cycled into work.
Couldn't make out what it was but it was a piston engined low wing monoplane and no GA aircraft sounds like that.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.  Revelling in numptytism.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed, badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry.

A Coastguard B350 was up yesterday as well looking for lost containers.  A vessel has been sailing up and down locating and marking sunken containers as navigational hazards.

I did wonder how close those containers were to you  ;D
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

None on the beach here (as far as I know), seem to be in the Selsey Bill area.

Beer and curry with a former workmate tomorrow.  He lives in Bracklesham so hoping for some free fruit!

Bracklesham!  ;D

Fond memories of a holiday there in what was to me a HUGE caravan when I was maybe 7-8.

That holiday was the first time I ever saw a powerboat race and was astonished at how fast they could go.  :o
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage

Seen over Derwentwater this afternoon, three pairs of Typhoons  at about 500 feet, followed by a C17 at not much more than 1000 feet.  The Herdwick sheep grazing in the valley took no notice at all but several tourists made excited noises and pointed.

Driving back from Carlisle to Herefordshire, absolutely NOTHING whatever to report.  Not even anything operating from Manchester airport.

Not strictly over my house, but a friend in Keswick drew my attention to this:-

It's from the local paper where I used to live.

If you know Keswick, you will recognise the roof of the Theatre by the Lake in Lake Road car park  in the last picture.

I know that part of Keswick well! It's near the boat tours and I've been to a show in that theatre.

Those A400Ms are flying over the campsite at Castlerigg high on the ridge there. When I stayed there many years ago we saw several aircraft at low level over our tents. It's an approved route for military flights.

PR19_Kit

Looks low, but that's par for the course for those A400Ms these days!

I was down in Christchurch yesterday and wandered past one of the USAF Herculii that cycles down to the Ice for Operation Deep Freeze.
It was a nice Dove Grey, with an orange patch on the tail, and old-style High-Vis Stars and Bars.
It was interesting to see the old-style markings, as we're so used to seeing the modern, lo-vis ones everywhere.
And something other than Gunship or Aggressor Grey...

About an hour or so ago, an A400M heading south at extremely low level.  Village gossip is that it had been out to play with the SAS.
